Howdy! Was busy this week- went down south. Appalations are beautifil this time of year. U been doin so good thought maybe I'd skip but YP just helped me move a 70 Chevy PU that had been sittin outside for 8 years, 30 miles without bustin anythin, & I was grateful, so thought I should write. Music for Richmond definatly "Honky Tonk Stomp" by Brooks & Dunn. P.S.- Not much of anythin really. Happy to be with me & helping me. We are proud of how U been doin. Also- picked up a couple 88 hats, one is pink thank U very much. Love U, US.
Hey JR! Sorry I'm late! Finally got a TV again, just in time to see the last 10 laps of the Michigan race. I was on my knees prayin for them guys to run outta gas! But oh so proud you came in third. Better than U have been, huh? And #3 is such a good number. Big changes in my life. Come ride sometime. Went to the dirt track Sat nite. Caught the last 2 features for free. Music for the week & for Bristol- I have to pick an oldie, but goodie- "John Deere Green", by Joe Diffie. Something to do with water towers. Wish I could be there, at Bristol with U. P.S. We're not giving up. Love U, Us

Hey! JR! Tryin to get back on track. Been takin in the wheat, workin extra hrs, truck & trailer both down this week & P still helpin like a trooper-bless his heart. Right now-like a dog circlein around tryin to find his spot to lie in. Sorry I forgot yer music last time. Still gotta go with "Runaway", great new song that in my opinion needs more recognition by Love & Theft. I had it backwards last time. Seen yer hauler come thru on 41. Told them they had found Victory Lane, but no answer. U better tell yer boys to keep it on 19 more! Anyway I been sayin GO JR on 19 alot this week SO- Knock em dead sweetie! P.S. You remember that Andy Griffith episode where he sez "Just tell em the boy busted a window & wants to stand on his own two feet."? This girl don't have no TV right now, I gotta help her, so yer just gonna have to BUCK UP. Make us proud son. We love U. US
Dear Jr, sorry I missed one- please forgive me, I got bits & pieces on the radio & heard U did fairly well. Things here R comin to a head. YP is helping me imensly, but I still have a long row to hoe. P.S. Hard to divide my time- Vic needs me alot right now. Buck up & hold your own son. A win would lift our spirits, but we love U & are proud of U no matter what.
Dale, Park your car until you find someone who can compete with the other drivers.
Dale Jr is why I started watching NASCAR because he is so sexy.
Dale Jr is the sexiest NASCAR driver. I think he will do something real soon. He better because I am about to get him tattooed on me. Dale Jr you better keep the 88.
HEY Dale JR. My son Trevor is ten years old and is racing quarter midgets. There are several kids with Dale Jr paint schemes. I finally told him we would do his car anyway he wanted it, he went to his room and grabbed the 1987 Wrangler pass in the grass #3, the car is beautiful. I sent a picture to Susan Downer at Wrangler. He is a JR fan and the first five races we went to you won. Your good luck charm will be at Bristol in August and Talladega in the Fall. ROCK the HOUSE. See you in victory lane.
Dear Junebug, I have to include everyone these days, cuz I'm seeing lots of 88's popping up on license plates, ect. We R proud of U. This week I learned if U continue to follow yer heart, the people that love U will try to help U, regardless of whether they think yer right or wrong. It goes back to that "Judge not, lest U B judged" thing. Or in the words of Montgomery Gentry, don't judge me & I won't judge U, cuz we all get judged in the end. Music for the week was pretty simple-"DRIVE" By Alan Jackson. P.S. Blessed R the knuckleheads, but that doesn't give U any excuse not to learn everything U can about mechanics, so when yer crew chief sez- whats wrong with it, U can give him 3 things to logically troubleshoot. And then- something about Michigan & DYE. I'm like die? He's like NO- DYE. So yer guess is as good as mine. Love me.
I think this week will be even better for Jr than last week. I liked the improvement I saw just after one race. I'm looking forward to Talledega and Chicago now!!!
the change in crew chiefs is long overdue. Jr. will not make the chase this season. Sorry.
Junebug-wow alot just this morn. First of all, this week I was reminded by a song "I'd settle for a slow down", that the way to let folx know U care-sometimes U have to stop flyin by and just slow down & give them at least recognition. Follows right along with DW's- gotta go slow to go fast theory-which I use in my driving also. Then, my bosses handed me a new NAPA racing hat, which was cool. Then that big change went on with U. Well, then I'm like-what do I say? P. S. Follow yer heart. Can U look yer next crew chief in the eye & trust him with yer life? So then this morn he's raggin on me to play this Allison Kraus tape "So long, so wrong". I says- you'll have to wait till I get in the truck cuz my tape deck don't work in house. NO he wants it NOW. Okay but it's not gonna work. Put it in- it worked-First song on that side "I'll remember you, love, in my prayers." And from me-yer always in Victory Lane cuz yer always in my heart. Then later he says stop at this second hand store, I wanna buy U somethin. A long sleeve Dale Sr. shirt for my work, thank you very much. Love, me.
Dear Dale Jr., Sorry I been callin U Junebug. I have a host of handles- some I like some NOT. This week got a "Chris Ledoux" song to recommend- "The Ride". Set tall in the saddle. Hold your head up high. Keep your eyes fixed where the trail meets the sky. And live like you ain't afraid to die. And don't be scared, just enjoy your ride. P.S. In the rat race of life sometimes U win, sometimes U lose. It's important to enjoy yourself. Life is short- go on & live it. Wish I could give you your happiness NOW- unfortuatly sometimes it takes awhile to find it. But you'll know it when U do. Until then- just Ledoux it. Love, me.
JR time to MAN UP YOU CAN DO IT MABY CHANGE THE CREW AROUND A BIT
Dear JB, I am proud of the new paint scheme & charities. I liked the CDL-M. P Sez- Put some white on 'em. Love, me.
Changeing horses in the middle of the stream gets you wet & sometimes cold. This week my truck broke down. It had been going down for weeks, but of course, it was-KEEP RUNNING, KEEP RUNNING, TILL IT'S DONE. No one believes you, & then U feel like "you know what" & it ain't yer fault! Anyway, I went from a red truck to a white loner with lavender trim, which a certain person told me was "more appropriate" for a young lady such as myself. Almost had me swayed too. But no- THE COLOR OF THE VEHICLE DOESN'T REALLY MATTER!!! IT'S THE PKG. SAFETY, HP, BRAKES, ect. I got my red truck back, which is what I wanted. Emphasis on I. What song would U sing for a lady in black? "Love & Theft" a new one by Runaway. Pa Sez- Victory is sweet & I love her but sometimes I think she could use a good whipping. Distractions my -ss. They couldn't even wake you up if you were asleep. Love, me.
like waching you on tv
i like waching you race on tv
Dear Junebug, momentum is what keeps us going forward and moral is what keeps our spirits high. This week was rainy-everyone, including God I think had a good cry. The wind was unpredictable and stiff. I had to resort to sailing philosophy, which is- SPEED = DIRECTIONAL STABILITY. In other words, I had to go faster than the wind. I had good help tho. I also learned that if you yourself are unpredictable that folx will always watch you to see what yer gonna do first. (He who hesitates is lost) Donuts are cheap, good and break the rules. (Oh well...) As for P, We have taken our hats off to one another. Could mean we're at each other's service or that we both still have our hair, him more of these days, thank God, I dunno. But, we've arrived at a stalemate, and now are just waiting for fate. Love, me.
come see dale jr and Josh rdie drve go-kart and dale jr swim pool
i be fan of dale jr for 8 year i love him he best
In the real world, I can't trade paint-be it green or otherwise. So,I have what I call the "green meanie" theory. A green meanie is the Hoosier version of the biggest baddest thorn bush you ever saw. They grow as tall as the trees and as big around as your thumb. Needless to say you don't want anything to do with them. So, orange cones, other vehicles- they're all green meanies to me. If I could give you a knight's favor it would be a lavender ribbon. And if I could give you a song it would be "A little luck of our own", by Keith Urban. As for your Pa, he's still with me, bless his heart. And although he can be intimidateting, interrogateing, sometimes aloof and sometimes a "poor me", he has been an enourmous help and I have come to love him dearly. His only msg for you this week was-BESIDE YOU I WILL ALWAYS STAND.
Dale Jr. you need to dig deep down and figure out if you want it bad enough or if you just wanna ride around with the others and have fun on the sponsors expense. Get your _ss in gear and show JR. NATION that you are who they think you are. AS for Tony, you need to stand on him over the radio and push this kid the way they use to push the legends several years back. Thanks for efforts.....
I'm glad that you are sticking to your guns about Tony. You two are meant to be together. Drivers & Crew Chiefs have to trust eachother. Everyne goes thru some rocky times. Real fans support their drivers even when we're frustrated cause we know your frustrated too. I know you can work through this and make it a great year.
We know you can do it Dale you just need a better crew chief sorry Tony and a better car. This is your year and I know you will kick some *ss and make all of us Jr fans proud. You are #1 in my eyes and we all wish you the best this year, and as always you are still sexy as ever!!!
I know this is Dale's year. He has nothing to prove to me. Just drive the way I know you can and you will have a great year. Championship here we come.
This will be Dale Jr.'s best year - he'll shake off this rough season start & be a huge Chase Contender and a good shot for champion. No other driver has the pressure and expectations Jr. has and no one else could handle it was well as he does - hang tough Jr.
Go Dale Jr! Kyle Busch is strong as usual, but Dale has the potential to be consistent throughout the regular season and the chase. Hope he keeps his agressiveness up with minimal mistakes. 2009 Dale Jr.'s year!
I drive trucks over the road and get too as many NASCAR races as I can get too.I feel 18 year old Joey is goin todo well this year as long as his head dont start growing. My pick is Carl Edwards winnin the points this year.ONLY BECOUSE you dont drive a FORD JR.HA,HA,HA.No but I hope everyone has a very good an safe year. And keep tryin to catch COUSIN CARL in that FORD I'll see ya at the track as often as i can get ther GOODLUCK an be safe HOODSTER
I think 2009 is going to be Junior's year. Daytona shows that Dale's going at it with an aggressive push. Keep at 'em, Dale!!! We'll be watching the next race to see what's next!
09 is Dale's Year!
