I think that Henricks was letting teams share their setups but no communication on adjustments so having a setup in the beginning of the race didn't help in the end next year Dale Jr. and Tony Jr. need to do their own setups but I know he"s going to do much better, he did great for his first time with Henricks I know he wants to win his first SPRINT CHAMPION & he will!!!!!! I thought Jr had the car, but as the race went on the driver and crew chief were not on the same wave length. There was a problem somewhere,first half of the race he was the man to beat and when the last half of the race you'd of thought they switched cars on him. Hhopefully withone year under his belt things will go better. I was atleasr hoping to get to see Jr in New York. I won't be watching the show, just don't have anyone there I'd really want to see. JR in 2009!!!!!

I just wanted to say I think Jr. has alot of class. Sure he might say some things in the heat of the moment that he might later regret but don't we all . That just shows he's humane. I think he has a great sense of humor when the pressure's off. Dale Jr. Had a much better first year with HMS, than his final year with DEI. I believe for Dale to win a championship, he needs to either get Tony Jr. up to par, or get Tpny Sr. back as Crew Chief. With POPS atop the crew Dale Jr was almost unstoppable, he had multiple wins seasons, won two Busch Series Champioships. We need POPS back to have more great years that Dale Jr deserves.

I do not like the chase format. All sponsors and race teams - considering money spent should keep running. I do not like qualifying system either. Let them all qualify on time or cut off qualifying all together.

I think Dale Jr did a great job, but I don't think he can reach his potential as long as Tony Eury Jr is his crew chief. Same story as last year, at about halfway thru the race things would start going down hill. I am a 100% Dale Jr fan and I would love to see him WIN, WIN, WIN!

As sad as it was at the time, Dale made the right decision in leaving DEI and moving on to a team that would give him the equipment and respect that he deserves -- that was made apparent by the # of DNF's he didn't have this year!!! what started as an interesting chase wound up being fairly boring. What the sport is going to is a two corporate team dominance. Hendrick and Roush have "bought" all the talent, so you either race for HMS, Roush, or "one of those other teams." As for Little E, he needs to grow some and get with it, take it if you really want it. Rick H. needs to make some personel changes starting with the 88 team.

I have had the privlidge to watch Junior run three races thisyear Martinsville,Chicago, and Talladega all in my great fitting Wrangler jeans. The best one was at Talladega this past October. Junior was by far the car to beat. It was a shame to see them put the 88 on the hook he was determined to win. Alhtough only one victory he had a stong Hendrick field to content with. His top 5 and 10 finishes show his ability to be contender at every track. It is great to see himn carry on the wrangler tradition his Father had.

Jr. had a very good year: he won, he came in high often, but he had bad luck at the last end. BUT, he didn't have all the heavy problems like he had with DEI. If the wicked step-mother had been willing to work with him, we all know GEI wouldn't be in such a predicament as they now are. Dale Sr. must be looking down and shaking his head ( and maybe fist) at Teresa. Go Jr! Can't wait until 2009!!

I"m truely a Dale Jr fan. I seriously think he needs a new crew chief. He just can't finish the way he should. Tony always makes the wrong adjustments. Put Chad Knaus with Jr. I bet he could win a few races maybe even the championship.

Even though there were only 11 other drivers better than him this year, I expected more after the turmoil with DEI last year. Hendricks is a great team to work for (see Jimmie Johnson), and next year should be at least top 5.

I think for his first year with a new team Jr. did awesome.but then again I never expected anything different.I agree though that he and Tony Jr need to be split they are to comfortable together Jr does not seem to tell Tony what is wrong with his car without him taking it as a personal attack on his ability as a crew chief .That needs to change .

Dale is A.W.E.S.O.M.E. He is truly the hottest driver in the business. As a driver, even HOTTER His first year with a new team and he made the chase, that is fantastic. I feel certain that we will see more wins in 2009 and a closer finish to take chase in 2009. What I would like to see from Wrangler is more advertisments during off season and tv ads with his SHIRT TUCKED in his wranglers. On second thought what about a tight fitting shirt that shows off his is arms and chest! Another thought..Number one commercial would be partnering with hanes and have Dale at the lake wearing a pair of wranglers & tight white tee standing on a boat, then striping down to his boxers jumping in the lake. Perfect commercial.

I think Dale did a great job this season. I just wish his Pit Crew were as determined as he is to win. He be doing very well in the standings, when he came in to pit - he was always 4 to 10 spots back in the standings. Pit Crew needs to improve big time.

If Jr. had better luck in the chase he would have finished much higher than 12th.However overall I think his first year with Hendrick was a big success. The #88 team showed great consistency, led alot of laps and made the chase!! I believe that JR would have done better this season with a better Crew Chief. I know JR would have been a Champion this year or would have taken second in points. Johnson should have not been the Champion this season, but Edwards should have. The only thing that makes Johnson good is his Crew Chief (even though he says he is from Chicago, when in fact he is really from Rockford!).

I was thrilled to see Jr go with Hendrick Mtr.Sprts.I feel Jr had an O.K. year,but now what he wanted or expected from himself or maybe from the team. If they can overcome the down times a little faster(not dwell on them,if that is the case and move on in everything. This team has Championship qualities written all over them, but they have to hold it together in the rough times better. I really support these guys and think they can be a top 3 contender for the 09 season and I'm not given up are you guys? Thanks for letting me vent.
