I think Dale's number should be the one that he wants, it doesn't have to be part of a legacy. What ever number he decides on he will make it his own legacy. I don't really think the number is that important it is the man behind the number everyone should care about. Dale Jr has proven to be an excellent driver with the potential to win the cup, so what ever number he does go with he will make it great. There is much more to Dale than a number, he is a intelligent, caring man who happens to be a great driver. People need to look beyond the fact that he is Dale Earnhardts son and give Dale Jr the credit he deserves. So what ever number he chooses I am behind him 100%. Heres to a great 2008 season in what ever number he chooses.

Yeah, the number 83 would be nice, but Brian Vickers races that number, so Jr cant have that one. Too bad it's not 38 either cause Yates decided not to sell it anymore. I think his number is gonna be a good suprise for us. Obviously there's gonna be the 8 in it because that's what he said. I'm hoping it's the 81 or something, but who knows. To be honest, it doesn't matter what number he drives in or what sponsor. Dale is who matters to me the most and I'll support him no matter where he goes.
